Outlines in the dark

Right now, if you're visually impaired – or just driving at night – your options for knowing what's around you are headlights and hope. Meanwhile, lidar and night-vision cameras can already trace the edges of objects in real time.

So what if we projected those outlines directly over your glasses, or built them into AR glasses? Low-vision users get a layer of the world back at exactly the hours it disappears, and night driving gets meaningfully safer for everyone else.
